Cassandra R. Brown is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW-S) and Certified Youth Mental Health Specialist with over 20 years of experience in mental health and social services. She earned her Master of Social Work from Alabama A&M University and has since established herself as a skilled therapist and effective leader in 

Cassandra R. Brown is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW-S) and Certified Youth Mental Health Specialist with over 20 years of experience in mental health and social services. She earned her Master of Social Work from Alabama A&M University and has since established herself as a skilled therapist and effective leader in both healthcare and community service settings.

Currently, Cassandra serves as Lead Therapist at Love Out Loud Counseling and Consulting Services, where she provides individualized, outcome-focused treatment to clients of all ages, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral, Solution-Focused, and Strength-Based therapies. She also works as Lead Social Worker at Brookwood Baptist Health, where she specializes in geriatrics, overseeing complex discharge planning, crisis intervention, and case management for older adult patients. In both positions, she offers clinical supervision, supporting and guiding other social work professionals.

Throughout her career, Cassandra has shown a strong commitment to community engagement and advocacy, with extensive experience collaborating with government and community agencies. Her volunteer leadership includes active involvement with Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and as Charter Member and President of the Greater Birmingham Section of the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW).

I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). I earned my Master of Social Work from Alabama A&M University. I am currently a Licensed Master Social Worker. Over the past 8 years, I have held several positions in which I worked with children, adolescents, and families. I recently

I recently worked with children that had developmental disabilities, providing applied behavior analysis therapy. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, working out, & binge watching tv shows with my husband. 

 Lena Kilgore graduated with a Masters of Education in Counseling in 2017 from the University of Montevallo. Lena has worked in the public-school setting for 7 years. She has been a school counselor for elementary, middle and high schools. Lena is an Associate Licensed Counselor (ALC) working toward her Licensed Professional Counselor (LP

Lena's husband is in the military and she has three children. In her free time, she enjoys reading, painting, and gardening. She looks forward to working with you soon!

For the past four years, I have worked in public schools supporting middle and high school students through their academic, social, and emotional challenges. Now, I am excited to transition into my role as a therapist, where I can continue to empower individuals in a therapeutic setting. As a proud military spouse and mother of two young boys, I find joy in reading, dancing when no one is looking, and exploring interior design.
