Cassandra R. Brown is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW-S) and Certified Youth Mental Health Specialist with over 20 years of experience in mental health and social services. She earned her Master of Social Work from Alabama A&M University and has since established herself as a skilled therapist and effective leader in both healthcare and community service settings.
Currently, Cassandra serves as Lead Therapist at Love Out Loud Counseling and Consulting Services, where she provides individualized, outcome-focused treatment to clients of all ages, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral, Solution-Focused, and Strength-Based therapies. She also works as Lead Social Worker at Brookwood Baptist Health, where she specializes in geriatrics, overseeing complex discharge planning, crisis intervention, and case management for older adult patients. In both positions, she offers clinical supervision, supporting and guiding other social work professionals.
Throughout her career, Cassandra has shown a strong commitment to community engagement and advocacy, with extensive experience collaborating with government and community agencies. Her volunteer leadership includes active involvement with Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and as Charter Member and President of the Birmingham Metropolitan section.

My theoretical orientation of choice is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which emphasizes the concept that human emotions and behavior revolve around the way we perceive our individual situations.
