Cassandra R. Brown is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW-S) and Certified Youth Mental Health Specialist with over 20 years of experience in mental health and social services. She earned her Master of Social Work from Alabama A&M University and has since established herself as a skilled therapist and effective leader in 

Cassandra R. Brown is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW-S) and Certified Youth Mental Health Specialist with over 20 years of experience in mental health and social services. She earned her Master of Social Work from Alabama A&M University and has since established herself as a skilled therapist and effective leader in both healthcare and community service settings.

Currently, Cassandra serves as Lead Therapist at Love Out Loud Counseling and Consulting Services, where she provides individualized, outcome-focused treatment to clients of all ages, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral, Solution-Focused, and Strength-Based therapies. She also works as Lead Social Worker at Brookwood Baptist Health, where she specializes in geriatrics, overseeing complex discharge planning, crisis intervention, and case management for older adult patients. In both positions, she offers clinical supervision, supporting and guiding other social work professionals.

Throughout her career, Cassandra has shown a strong commitment to community engagement and advocacy, with extensive experience collaborating with government and community agencies. Her volunteer leadership includes active involvement with Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and as Charter Member and President of the Birmingham Metropolitan section.

I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). I earned my Master of Social Work from Alabama A&M University. I am currently a Licensed Master Social Worker. Over the past 8 years, I have held several positions in which I worked with children, adolescents, and families. I recently

I recently worked with children that had developmental disabilities, providing applied behavior analysis therapy. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, working out, & binge watching tv shows with my husband.

Tatyana is an Associate Licensed Counselor (ALC) who earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2024 and her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2019, both from the University of Montevallo. She has experience working with diverse populations, including children and adults with disabilities, survivors of domestic violence, and individuals navigating significant mental health challenges. Tatyana’s counseling style is compassionate and client-centered, focusing on helping clients rediscover their resilience and inner strengths. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys playing the piano, practicing self-care, bargain hunting, and spending meaningful time with her family.

I am currently pursing my Doctorate in Infant and Early Childhood Development with an Emphasis in Mental Health and Neurodiversity at Fielding University. I am currently an Associate Licensed Counselor who specializes in the children and adolescent population. However, I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings with all age groups. My theoretical orientation of choice is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which emphasizes the concept that human emotions and behavior revolve around the way we perceive our individual situations. I approach counseling with empathy, understanding, and honesty to provide a safe space to offer support and gentle challenging when necessary. My goal is to facilitate clients in exploring their own abilities and strengths throughout the therapeutic process and to provide tools to help them face any challenge that arises with confidence.
